Here's a picture to my mixed green w/ seared scallop & Shrimp Bisque

某天的dinner

It's light..I didn't have the soup, neither did Bianca, cuz we think the shrimp was bad..
look at all the stuff I wasted in making that wonderful soup...
the soup tastes great, but the shrimp has the ammonia taste, and I googled that and found out that means the shrimp was wayawyawy old, it's decayed ..
so I throw the soup away *tears*
good thing I didn't have the soup though, cuz it's very high in calorie
the salad w/ scallop in other hand was really healthy and light, and that was what I had for dinner the other night w/ Bianca.

I want to tell you guys how I make my mixed greens salad, it's the best of the best.

what you need is.....
1. a bag of organic mixed greens
2.some roasted peacans
3.bleu cheese crumbs (don't worry, they're not that fattening, but if you just omitt them, it won't taste as good)
4. dried cranberries

And you.....

and you just throw them together!!!!!
Add in Balsamic Vinegratte and Olive Oil and some fresh grind pepper and some sea salt then they're perfect!

It is a light meal but rather fulfilling though.

So for the seared Scallop, it's really simple, just make sure you pad dry the scallops, so they will sear properly .
And make sure you remove the hard muslces as well.
Never the less, you sprinkle some fresh grind pepper & sea salt on it and sear it in the pan (w/ EVOO or butter, butter will taste better, but EVOO is the healthy way to go)

However, you don't want to over cook the scallops. the center of the scallop should be a bit transparent when it's done.

And as for the recipe for the shrimp bisque , I'll post it upon request. = )
